ITI (Industrial Training Institute) और Polytechnic दोनों ही तकनीकी शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में करियर बनाने के लिए विकल्प हैं,
ITI (Industrial Training Institute):
- ITI courses are short-term vocational courses that focus on practical skills related to specific trades, such as electrician, fitter, welder, and machinist. These courses typically last 6 months to 2 years and are designed to prepare students for specific job roles in industries. ITI courses are more skill-oriented and less theoretical.
Polytechnic:
- Polytechnic refers to diploma courses in engineering and technology fields. These courses are usually of 3 years duration and provide more comprehensive technical education compared to ITI. Polytechnic courses cover a broader range of subjects in engineering disciplines like civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, and computer engineering. Graduates of polytechnic courses can either pursue a job or continue their education by entering into the second year of a B.Tech or BE degree program (through lateral entry).
